W&L Men's Tennis Defeats Guilford, 8-1
GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The Washington and Lee men's tennis team improved to 7-1 overall and 6-0 in the ODAC with an 8-1 victory over Guilford on Sunday afternoon in Greensboro, N.C.
The Generals claimed all six singles matches, dropping just eight games to the Quakers. Guilford notched a win at No. 1 doubles, but W&L claimed victory in the other two doubles matches for the 8-1 win.
With the loss, Guilford fell to 5-3 overall and 2-2 in the ODAC.
Washington and Lee returns to action on Tuesday when it hosts Randolph for a 4:00 pm contest.
