W&L's White Falls in ITA Singles Semifinals

MOBILE, Ala. – Washington and Lee first-year men’s tennis player Hayden White (Baltimore, Md./Towson) saw his run end in the semifinals of the men’s Division III singles bracket at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) National Small College Championships held at the Copeland-Cox Tennis Center.

White fell to top-seeded John Watts of Washington University on Friday morning by a score of 6-2, 6-3.

White will complete his action at the ITA Small College Championships on Saturday morning as he takes on Robbie Erani of Claremont-Mudd Scripps in the third-place match.  The match is slated to begin at 10:00 am.
