    Yates and Logue Garner ODAC Athlete of the Week Honors The Old Dominion Athletic Conference released its Athletes of the Week on Monday for the week ending January 15, and Washington and Lee sophomore Samantha Yates (Birmingham, Ala. / St. Paul’s School) was named the Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week, while first-year Sam Logue (Fallston, Md. / Loyola Blakefield) earned the Men’s Swimmer of the Week honor.

    W&L Men's Swimming Tops Catholic, 172-84 The 23rd ranked Washington and Lee men’s swimming team defeated Catholic, 172-84, on Saturday at Cy Twombly Pool. This was the Generals’ final meet in the Cy Twombly Pool, as the team will compete in the new W&L Natatorium next season.

    Numerous W&L Students Earn Fall Scholar-Athlete Awards Washington and Lee Director of Athletics Jan Hathorn has announced that a record 242 students earned Scholar-Athlete awards during the recently completed fall term. The students are all members of W&L athletic teams and achieved a grade-point average (GPA) of at least 3.50. The prior record for scholar-athletes in the fall or winter term was 224 set during the fall of 2014.
