2008-09: Named the W&L Outstanding Freshman Male Athlete … earned first-team all Bluegrass Mountain Conference honors … participated in the NCAA DIII championships in individual events and as a member of the 200 medley relay team … set school records in the 200 back (1:49.25), 400 IM (4:01.60) and 400 medley relay (3:26.29) … earned Honorable Mention All-America honors in the 400 IM and 200 back at the NCAA DIII championship, finishing 13th  in the 400 IM with a time of 4:01.60 and ninth in the 200 back with a time of 1:49.25 … member of 400 medley relay squad that set a school record (4:01.60) while finishing 17th at the NCAA DIII championship … recorded a third-place finish and NCAA “B” cut time of 1:51.84 in the 200 back at the Bluegrass Mountain Conference championship … claimed the 200 back in a time of 1:56.19 at the Franklin & Marshall Quad meet (11/22) … won the 200 back with a time of 1:59.61 in a meet against Mary Washington (10/18).
