Hamryka and Dolberg Garner Men's Soccer All-Region Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The United Soccer Coaches announced its 2017 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer All-South Atlantic Region team on Wednesday and Washington and Lee had two athletes honored.

Junior midfielder Will Hamryka (Dawsonville, Ga. / Greater Atlanta Christian School) and sophomore defender Oliver Dolberg (Clovis, Calif. / Buchannan) received second-team accolades.

Hamryka saw action in 21 games for the Generals. A First Team All-ODAC honoree earlier this season, Hamryka led W&L with six goals, while also dishing out two assists. His 14 points tied for first on the squad. This is Hamryka's first all-region honor in his career.

A two-time all-region honoree, Dolberg appeared in 17 contests as part of the Generals' defensive unit. He helped W&L post a 0.93 goals-against average and claim nine shutouts. He also tallied five goals, which tied for second on the team. Dolberg earned first team all-conference accolades earlier this season.

The Generals ended their season with a 15-5-2 overall mark and a 7-2 conference mark. W&L made its third straight appearance in the NCAA tournament and advanced to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2000, before falling to fifth-ranked North Park, 3-0.
