W&L Introduces 2014 Men's Lacrosse "The Season"

LEXINGTON, Va. – The Washington and Lee athletics department has announced that it will profile the 2014 men's lacrosse season through a blog entitled "The Season" much like it has done with volleyball and men's basketball.

The W&L sports information department plans to work in conjunction with the team to produce a behind the scenes look at the Generals through one full season of competition.

"The volleyball site has received better than 7,100 page views and the men's basketball page has been viewed more than 7,000 times with a little less than a month still left in the regular season," said W&L Sports Information Director Brian Laubscher.  "'The Season' concept has been well received by our students, parents, alumni and fans, and we are looking forward to continuing our inside look at the Washington and Lee athletic programs as we profile the men's lacrosse team this spring.  We feel like we have some fresh new videos to unveil that will give our fans a better look at the game from the players' point of view – along with the all-time favorites like the 'Day in the Life' series."

W&L Men's Lacrosse "The Season" kicks off today with the 2014 season preview video and will continue next week with a player's written assessment on the season-opening game against Ferrum.  To view the site or sign up to follow W&L Men's Lacrosse "The Season", simply visit the site at http://theseasonwlumlax.wordpress.com/.
