Senior midfielder Joe Wood (Bronxville, N.Y. / Bronxville) tallied four goals and one assist to lead the 14th-ranked Washington and Lee men’s lacrosse team to a 14-6 victory over Christopher Newport on Saturday afternoon at the CNU Turf Field.

W&L's St. Laurent Named Head Lacrosse Coach at Ohio Northern
Ohio Northern University has announced that it has tabbed current Washington and Lee Assistant Men’s Lacrosse Coach Nat St. Laurent to serve as the first head coach for the Polar Bears lacrosse program. St. Laurent will remain as the Generals’ assistant coach through the 2014 season.

The Old Dominion Athletic Conference released its 2014 men’s lacrosse preseason coaches poll on Tuesday afternoon and Washington and Lee was picked to finish third out of the league’s 10 lacrosse playing schools.

Numerous W&L Students Earn Fall Scholar-Athlete Awards
Washington and Lee Director of Athletics Jan Hathorn has announced that 190 students earned Scholar-Athlete awards during the recently completed fall term. The students are all members of W&L athletic teams and achieved a grade-point average (GPA) of at least 3.50.
