LEXINGTON, Va. – Hampden-Sydney scored three unanswered goals in the final 5:05 of the game to post an 11-9 win over Washington and Lee in ODAC men's lacrosse action on Saturday afternoon at Wilson Field.

H-SC tied the game at 8-8 on a goal by senior attackman Micah Keller (Richmond, Va./Christchurch) with 11:11 remaining, but W&L grabbed the lead back just 15 seconds later when first-year attackman Cameron Dabir (Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich./Culver Academy) scored off an assist from junior midfielder Cooper Brown (Baltimore, Md./Gilman).

Washington and Lee controlled play for much of the game, out-shooting the Tigers, 40-23, and holding a 33-20 advantage on ground balls.  The Generals also won 17-of-24 faceoffs behind the play of sophomore midfielder Jared Mitchell (Garden City, N.Y./Garden City), who took every draw for W&L.

Means registered three goals and two assists, while Meehan had one goal and three assists.  Dabir found the net three times as well.  Sophomore goalkeeper Patrick Jennings (Reisterstown, Md./Boys' Latin) played all 60 minutes and recorded five saves.
