High School: Earned four letters in lacrosse and three in wrestling at Cary Academy ... was a two-time team captain for the lacrosse team ... earned first team all-conference honors in each of his final three seasons and was the conference player of the year as a senior ... also received first team all-state laurels following his final year ... holds the school record for points (102) and goals (74) in a season.

Off the Field: Attended Marine Corps Officer Candidate School for a commission in the Marine Corps following his time at W&L ... business administration major.
