CHANDLER, Ariz. -- Washington and Lee senior forward Sallie
Armstrong (Houston, Texas/St. John’s) has been selected to
play in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA)
Division III Senior All-Star game.
The NFHCA Division III All-Star game is set to be played on Sun., Nov. 22, at 9:30 am on the campus of Mount Holyoke College.
The Generals all-time leader in goals scored (55) and total points (128), Armstrong has been a First Team All-ODAC Selection following each of her first three seasons and was an NFHCA Second Team All-South region pick last season. She is the third General to be selected to play in the annual game.
Armstrong has helped lead the Generals to a 9-6 (5-2 ODAC) record this season and is currently ranked third in the conference in goals (16) and tied for fourth in total points (35).
The Generals will look to continue their season on Saturday when they host Roanoke in the quarterfinal round of the ODAC Tournament. Game time is slated for 2:00 pm.
