NEW YORK, N.Y. – Washington and Lee senior football players Luke Heinsohn (Charlottesville, Va./Covenant) and Jake Pelton (Charlottesville, Va./Monticello) have been selected to participate in the 2012 D3 Senior Classic All-Star game.
Both will participate on the south squad when the teams meet on Friday, December 7 at 7:00 pm at Salem Stadium in Salem, Va. Players will practice and work out for scouts on Thursday afternoon, before taking part in a banquet at the Salem Civic Center on Thursday evening.
The South squad will be coached by Methodist University's Dave Eavenson, while the North will be coached by Al Piascik of SUNY-Maritime. Other ODAC players participating in the senior-only all-star game include Hampden-Sydney linebacker Kenny Fryman and Shenandoah offensive lineman Jake Brent.
