2012: Two-year letterwinner and a team captain ... expected to compete for plenty of game action across the defensive front again this fall.

2011: Played in nine games, totaling 32 tackles, including two tackles for a loss (-4) ... also forced one fumble and had one pass breakup ... recorded a career-high six tackles, including two tackles for a loss, and forced a fumble in a 17-14 win over Emory & Henry (10/8) ... notched four tackles in four other contests throughout the season.

2010: Saw action in all 11 games with six starts along the defensive line ... tallied 23 tackles and ranked third on the team with 4.0 tackles for a loss (-10) ... also had two pass breakups, one fumble recovery and a half sack ... logged four tackles, including one tackle for a loss, in a 20-10 loss to Averett (9/25) ... also had four tackles in wins over Bridgewater (10/23) and Catholic (10/29).

High School: Lettered as a member of the football and track & field teams at Douglas Freeman High School ... helped lead the football team to a regional championship as a junior ... named team captain and defensive MVP as a senior ... two-time academic all-district and all-district selection at defensive tackle ... led the team in sacks and tackles for a loss his final two seasons ... three-time district qualifier in the shot put in indoor track & field and a regional qualifier in the shot put in outdoor track & field ... two-time Virginia State Champion in power lifting.
