injuries throughout his career … will contend for a starting

2008: Snared 14 passes for 110 yards and one touchdown as a junior … also returned two kickoffs for a 26.5-yard average … had three catches for 11 yards and one touchdown in a 31-23 win over Averett (9/27) … caught three passes for 24 yards in a 28-16 win over Randolph-Macon (10/4) and posted two catches for 28 yards in a 17-14 loss to Emory & Henry (11/8).
2007: Played in seven games during his sophomore campaign as a reserve running back and wide receiver and special teams player.
