Washington and Lee University held its annual Athletic Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, May 15 at Lee Chapel. Headlining the award winners were senior soccer player Kat Lawson (White Post, Va./Clarke County) and senior football player Charlie Westfal (New Canaan, Conn./New Canaan), who were selected as the “Pres” Brown Outstanding Senior Female and Male Athletes of the Year as voted on by members of the department.

The Washington and Lee baseball team ended its 2012 regular season with a double-header split against 22nd-ranked Lynchburg College. W&L dropped game one by a score of 5-3 then came back to post a 14-7 win in the nightcap.
