W&L Baseball Doubleheader Pushed to Sunday
LEXINGTON, Va. – The Washington and Lee baseball team's scheduled ODAC doubleheader for Saturday at Randolph-Macon has been moved to Sunday at 12:30 pm. The games were moved to Sunday due to the amount of snow Ashland received over this past week.
The Generals currently are 7-4 overall and 2-0 in the conference. Junior outfielder Keegan Dolan (Bethesda, Md./Landon) leads the team with a .463 (19-of-41) batting average, while junior Jake Rudolph (Cordova, Tenn./Memphis University School) has appeared in six games (9.0 innings) without allowing a run. He leads the team and is tied for the ODAC lead with three saves.
The Yellow Jackets are 4-6 overall and 0-2 in the league. R-MC lost its two opening ODAC games last Saturday at Bridgewater, 10-5 and 8-1. The Yellow Jackets have lost five of their last six with their only win in that stretch coming at home to Methodist, 5-2, on March 5.
