LEXINGTON, Va. – Washington and Lee junior shortstop Jonathan Stutts (Charlotte, N.C./Charlotte Country Day) was recently named to a pair of all-region baseball teams.
Stutts was selected to the America Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings All-South Region squad as a second team honoree. Additionally, he claimed third team All-South Region honors from D3Baseball.com.
Also a First Team All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference pick in 2012, Stutts started all 34 games as shortstop and batted .402 with 11 doubles, three triples and five home runs, to go along with 25 runs batted in and 26 runs scored. His .500 on base percentage led the conference, while his .644 slugging percentage ranked fourth in the league.
Washington and Lee completed the 2012 campaign with a 15-19 overall record and an 8-10 mark in conference play.
