2010: Lettered as a sophomore …
appeared in 22 games with 18 starts … finished second on the
team with two home runs … posted a .274 batting average with
11 runs, four doubles and 10 RBIs … went 1-for-4 with a home
run, two runs scored and two RBI in an 18-6 win over Emory &
Henry (3/24) … was 2-for-3 with a run scored and three RBI
in an 11-2 win against Eastern Mennonite (4/7).
2009: Lettered during his debut campaign … appeared in 10 games, making five starts as a first-year … posted a batting average of .238 with one double … also drew a pair of walks and had one sacrifice.
High School: Earned four letters in baseball and swimming at Hammond … also lettered three times in basketball and three times in football … was a four-time all-area swimmer … helped lead the football team to a pair of state championships … earned all-state honors in baseball on three occasions.
Off the field: Father, Chip ’82, also attended W&L … chemistry major.
