2009: Lettered during his debut season … appeared in 35 games and was in the starting lineup on 24 occasions … posted a .278 batting average with eight doubles … scored 10 runs and had 14 RBI … also stole three bases … went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a stolen base in a 5-4 loss to Shenandoah (4/1) … had one hit in three at-bats and drove in a pair of runs in a 4-1 win over Lynchburg (4/23).

High School: Lettered for the football and baseball teams at Nease … helped lead the football team to three district and regional titles and one state championship … served as a captain for the football team during his senior season … high school quarterback was Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow.

Off the field: Also plays for the W&L football team … father, Bill, played football and participated in track & field at Carthage College ... business administration major.
