Directions to ODAC Schools (from W&L)

BRIDGEWATER
Take I-81 North until you reach Exit 240, the Mt. Crawford/Bridgewater exit. Take a left off of the exit onto Route 257 and Route 682 heading west. Continue straight for approximately three miles. Bridgewater College will be directly on the left. Turn left onto north second street and that will take you to the heart of campus.
Driving Time: One hour.

CATHOLIC
Take I-81 North until you reach Exit 300 for I-66 East. Take I-66 until it empties onto Constitution Avenue. Continue east on Constitution Avenue and turn left on 6th Street, NW. Turn right on E Street, NW. Turn left on North Capitol Street. Drive approximately 2 miles and turn right on Michigan Avenue, NE. You will soon see the dome of the Shrine on your left marking a university entrance at 4th Street, NE.
Driving Time: 3 hours, 20 minutes.

EASTERN MENNONITE
Take I-81 North until you reach Exit 245, Port Republic Road. Take a left off of the exit ramp onto Port Republic Road. Take PR Road for approximately 1/4 mile and turn right onto Route 42 (Virginia Ave.). Take this approximately three miles. Turn left onto Parkwood Drive and this will take you into the heart of campus.
Driving Time: One hour, 10 minutes.

EMORY & HENRY
Take I-81 South until you reach Exit 26, the exit for Emory, Va. Take a right off of the exit onto Route 737. Take this about 2/3 mile and the campus will be next to the road on the right.
Driving Time: 2 hours, 45 minutes.

GUILFORD
Take I-81 South until your reach Roanoke. Get off I-81 at Exit 143 and take I-581 towards downtown Roanoke. I-581 will turn into US 220 South. Stay on US 220 until you reach the Greensboro city limits. In Greensboro, 220 will turn into Battleground Ave. Stay on Battleground until you reach New Garden Road. Take a right onto New Garden Road and take this about four or five miles. At some point, New Garden takes a left turn, but remains New Garden. Take this turn. Shortly thereafter, you will see Guilford on your left. Take a left onto Arcadia Road and this will take you onto campus.
Driving Time: Three hours, 15 minutes.

HAMPDEN-SYDNEY
Take US 60 West through Buena Vista and over the mountain. Continue of US 60 through Amherst, Va., and remain on 60 until you cross the James River in Bent Creek, Va. Take a right immediately after crossing the bridge across the river onto VA-26/ VA-605. Follow this road straight and it will lead to Apppomattox, Va. In Appomattox, take a left onto US 460 East toward Farmville. Take the second Farmville exit off of 460 and take a right off of the exit ramp. Follow this road approx. three miles to the first stop light. Take a right at the light and follow the signs for Hampden-Sydney College.
Driving Time: Two hours, 10 minutes. 

HOLLINS
Take I-81 South to Exit 146. Take a left off of the exit ramp onto Plantation Road. Take Plantation until the first stoplight and turn left onto Williamson Road (Route 11 North). Go approximately 1/2 mile, turn left into the campus entrance.
Driving Time: 50 minutes.

LYNCHBURG
Take Route 60 West until you reach Buena Vista. At first stop light, take a right and follow signs for 501 South. Once on 501 South, take this over the mountain until you are next to the James River. At the dam, remain going straight (501 turns right) and this road will turn into 130 East. Take 130 until you reach US 29. Take Route 29 South until you reach the Stadium Exit (Lynchburg City Stadium). Take a right off of the ramp. Go about 1/8 mile and veer right at the yield sign (City Stadium Area). Stay straight on this street until you reach Lakeside Drive. Turn left onto Lakeside Drive. Go about 1/8 mile and you will see the college entrance on your left.
Driving Time: One hour, 20 minutes.

RANDOLPH (Formerly R-MWC)
Take Route 60 West until you reach Buena Vista. At first stop light, take a right and follow signs for 501 South. Once on 501 South, take this over the mountain until you are next to the James River. At the dam, 501 will take a right turn across the river. Take this turn. Continue on 501 until you reach the Lynchburg City limits. You will then take a left onto Boonesboro Road, also called the Lynchburg Expressway. Continue on Boonesboro Road about two miles until it becomes Rivermont Ave. Continue on Rivermont Ave. and the college will appear on the left.
Driving Time: One hour, 25 minutes. 

RANDOLPH-MACON
Take I-81 North until you reach Staunton, Va., and pick up I-64 West. Take I-64 West until exit number 177 for I-295 North. Get off I-295 at exit number 43 which is I-95 towards Washington, D.C. Get off of I-95 at Exit number 92B which is Route 54 West. Take Route 54 across Route 1 (your third light). About 1/2 mile after Route 1, turn right onto Henry Street and you will see signs for the college.
Driving Time: Two hours, 32 minutes. 

ROANOKE
Take I-81 South until you reach Exit 140. Take a right off of the exit ramp onto Thompson Memorial Drive. Take Thompson for about 1 1/2 miles. Take a right onto Clay Street and then another right onto Market Street. Roanoke College is on the right.
Driving Times: One hour.

SWEET BRIAR
Take Route 60 West until you reach Amherst, Va. In Amherst, turn onto Route 29 South and follow that for approximately two miles. The entrance to Sweet Briar will be on the right.
Driving Time: One hour, 10 minutes.

VIRGINIA WESLEYAN
Take I-81 North to Staunton and pick up I-64 East. Take I-64 East until you reach Norfolk (I-64 and I-95 run together in Richmond). In Norfolk, take Exit 282 which is Northampton Blvd. Follow this about 1/10 mile and turn right onto Wesleyan Drive. You will see the entrance to Virginia Wesleyan on the right.
