ODAC To Videocast a Pair of W&L Football Games

LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) and Penn Atlantic Inc., will be partnering to broadcast six conference football games throughout the remainder of the 2007 ODAC schedule, including a pair of W&L football games.

Washington and Lee will have both of its remaining home contests webcast through the ODAC's partnership with Penn Atlantic. The Generals' homecoming tilt with Catholic on Oct. 6 will be the first game to appear over the internet, while W&L's parents' weekend contest against Bridgewater will also be featured.

Once available, links to the games can be accessed through several Internet locations. Each of the six games can be reached from the ODAC website at http://www.odaconline.com or by directly browsing to http://www.pennatlantic.com and selecting the game from its list of scheduled broadcasts. There will be a small charge of $3.50 to view each contest.

In order to view the broadcast, you need a cable or DSL high‑speed Internet connection (preferably above 600 kbps download speed). You can test your speed (bandwidth) directly from the Penn Atlantic website. The feed will not work with a dial‑up internet. You will also need Windows Media Player 9.0 or 10.0.

For AOL users, you will not be able to access the Penn Atlantic website via the AOL browser (due to firewall). If you use Internet Explorer (installed on every Windows‑based PC) instead, you will have no problems viewing the game.

Macintosh users should view the “FAQ” section of the Penn Atlantic website to learn about how you can view the game. Scroll down near the bottom of that section to the “Can I watch a game on my Macintosh?” question to learn how to view the game.
