BALTIMORE, Md. -- Washington and Lee junior midfielder Harry St. John (Essex Fells, N.J./West Essex) has been named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division III All-America team, which was announced on Monday morning.
St. John was tabbed to the honorable-mention squad after garnering First Team All-ODAC accolades earlier this spring. He played in all 15 games in 2008 and led the team with 43 points on 30 goals and 13 assists. A Second Team All-ODAC honoree his first two seasons, St. John recorded 76 goals and 31 assists over his three seasons and he is tied for 28th all-time at W&L with 107 career points.
Washington and Lee finished the 2008 campaign with a 9-6 overall record and a 5-1 mark in the ODAC. The Generals dropped three contests by a single-goal, including a 13-12 setback to Virginia Wesleyan in the ODAC Tournament Semifinals.
