LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Washington and Lee men’s tennis team will participate in the NCAA Division III Tournament for the seventh-straight year and will receive an opening-round bye.
The Generals (20-2) will be competing in the NCAA First, Second and Third Rounds held at the University of Mary Washington over the weekend.
The Generals will meet the winner of a match between Johns Hopkins (17-2) and Messiah (15-2) in the second round on Saturday at 10:00 am.
The other half of the bracket at Mary Washington features the host Eagles (21-8) meeting Methodist (11-8) in the first round. The winner of that match will face Trinity of Texas (14-3) in the second round on Saturday.
Sunday's third round match will be played at 1:00 pm for the right to advance to NCAA Nationals hosted by Washington University in St. Louis, Mo., on May 15-20.
