ROBINSON EARNS ODAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONOR

SALEM, Va. -- The Old Dominion Athlete Conference (ODAC) announced its athletes of the week for the week ending April 22 and sophomore attacker Kelsi Robinson (West Chester, Pa./Westtown) was selected as the women's lacrosse ODAC Player of the Week.

Robinson tallied nine goals and five assists in a 3-0 week for the women's lacrosse team. She posted five points in each of the Generals' wins over Lynchburg (3g, 2a) and Hollins (2g, 3a), then capped her week by scoring four goals in a 16-5 win over Virginia Wesleyan on Saturday. For the season, Robinson leads the team in scoring with 58 points on 28 goals and 30 assists.

The women's lacrosse team concluded the regular season with a 12-3 overall record and an unblemished 8-0 record in the conference. The Generals have secured a first-round bye in the 2007 ODAC Tournament and will host the semifinals on Saturday at Watt Field. W&L will play the winner of the Virginia Wesleyan/Lynchburg quarterfinal on Saturday at 12:30 pm.
