LEXINGTON, Va. -- Washington and Lee seniors Amanda Strickler

to be inducted into its Athletic Hall of Fame in a ceremony to be

Saturday, Sept. 16. This year’s class includes Mike Daniel

Walsh has announced that 162 students earned Scholar-Athlete awards
during the recently completed winter term. The students are all
members of W&L athletic teams and achieved a grade-point

Postgraduate Scholarship. The award is a $7,500 scholarship for
academic work beyond the baccalaureate degree as a full-time or
part-time graduate student.

a program-best five riders for the Intercollegiate Horse Show

LEXINGTON, Va. -- Washington and Lee athletic director Mike Walsh
has announced the promotion of Josh Williamson from Assistant
Athletic Trainer to Associate Athletic Trainer. Williamson moves to
the position after Heather Grant was promoted from Associate
Athletic Trainer to Head Athletic Trainer.

SKILLMAN, N.J. -- Former Washington and Lee women's tennis player
Lindsay Hagerman (Wichita Falls, Texas/Highland Park) was one of 26
players named to the 2005 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA)
All-Star Team presented by the The Nick Bollettieri Tennis
Academy.

LEXINGTON, Va. -- Washington and Lee athletic director Mike Walsh
has announced the appointment of Cleive Adams as assistant football
coach and assistant professor of physical education. Adams will
begin his duties effective July 18.
W&L SWIMMING GARNERS ACADEMIC HONORS
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- The College Swimming Coaches
Association of America (CSCAA) released its 2005 Spring Academic
All-America Teams on Wednesday and Washington and Lee was well
represented. The women led the nation with a team grade-point
average (GPA) of 3.59, while the men totaled a 3.33 GPA to finish
12th in the nation.

has announced that Carolyn Hedrick-Williams has resigned her part
time position as equestrian coach to spent more time with her
