LEXINGTON, Va. -- Just one day after graduating from
Washington and Lee University, former Generals' shortstop Michael

SALEM, Va. -- The Washington and Lee athletic program
captured the 2003 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Commissioner's
Cup for overall excellence, marking the seventh time in nine years
that the Generals have claimed the best overall program in the
conference. W&L also won the men's overall cup for the eighth
straight time and finished second in the women's overall cup.

LEXINGTON, Va. -- Washington and Lee head women's
lacrosse coach Jan Hathorn has been named the Intercollegiate
Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division III South
Atlantic Region Coach of the Year in voting conducted by the
association's members. Amherst's Chris Paradis was named the IWLCA
National Coach of the Year after claiming the Division III National
Championship.
