LEXINGTON, Va. -- Senior forward Brad Murphy (Mantoloking, N.J./Christian Brothers Academy) was honored as a Third Team All-South Region performer by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America on Friday afternoon.

Murphy, who led W&L with 21 points on eight goals and five assists, was the lone General to garner all-region honors. Following his junior season in which he was second on the team in points (15 on six goals and three assists), he was a Second Team All-South Region honoree.

Murphy, who wraps up his career as the ninth-leading scorer in program history (59 points on 24 goals and 11 assists) was Second-Team All-ODAC selection this season.

The Generals finished the year at an 8-9-2 overall with a loss to Randolph-Macon (2-0) in the semifinals of the ODAC Tournament.
