LEXINGTON, Va. -- Washington and Lee freshman Lindsay Hagerman
(Dallas, Texas/Highland Park) has been honored by the
Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) as the Atlantic South
Region Rookie of the Year.
As one of four regional-award winners, Hagerman will now move onto
the national ballot where she will be one of four freshman
considered for NCAA Division III National Rookie of the Year
honors.
Hagerman, the 14th ranked singles player in Division III, earned
All-ODAC honors at No. 1 singles after posting a 20-4 record. In
addition, she was an All-ODAC selection at No. 2 doubles after
accumulating a 19-3 record.

current W&L senior Melissa Hatley (Columbia, S.C./Heathwood
Hall) earned the award.
The Generals finished their regular season with a record of 18-2
and are awaiting their seeding for the upcoming NCAA
