KROUCHICK NAMED ODAC WOMEN'S HOOPS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

SALEM, Va. -- The Old Dominion Athletic Conference announced its women's basketball Player of the Week on Monday and junior forward Kristen Krouchick (Holland, Pa./Nazareth Academy) was selected for the week ending November 19.

Krouchick posted double-figures in both of the Generals' wins this weekend en route to be named MVP of the Swarthmore Tip-Off Classic.

In a 62-24 win over CCNY in the opening contest, she tallied 16 points, pulled down eight rebounds and made four steals. In the championship game, Krouchick racked up 18 points and six rebounds as the Generals won their first in-season tournament since 1997-98 with a 52-45 victory over Swarthmore.

W&L looks to improve to 3-0 for the first time in program history when it returns to action on Tuesday. The Generals will take on Apprentice for a 5:30 pm contest in Newport News, Va.
