W&L WOMEN'S TENNIS TO HOST NCAA ATLANTIC SOUTH REGIONAL
LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Washington and Lee women's tennis team was awarded the second seed in the Atlantic South Regional and will host one of two regional sites on Thursday, May 10 at 3:30 pm, and Friday, May 11 at noon in Lexington, Va. Emory University will host the other regional in Atlanta, Ga., on the same days.
The Generals will square off against seventh-seeded Salisbury State in the first round on Thursday at 3:30 pm on the W&L Upper Courts. Third-seeded Sewanee will take on No. 6 Mary Washington at the same time on the W&L Lower Courts.
The region's top seed, Emory, received a bye in the first round and will take on the winner of the Rhodes-Methodist match on Friday afternoon.
