FOREST, Va. – The Old Dominion Athletic Conference has released its 2016-17 season sportsmanship teams and numerous Washington and Lee student-athletes were among those honored.
Each school has one student-athlete recognized on the sportsmanship teams for each of the 24 intercollegiate varsity sports sponsored by the conference. For W&L, the following athletes were cited for their sportsmanship during each of the three seasons:

In all, the ODAC recognized 239 student-athletes conference-wide for the sportsmanship they exhibited throughout the 2016-17 school year.
Washington and Lee completed the 2016-17 year with a 214-104-3 (.671) overall record en route to claiming 10 ODAC Championships (men’s cross country, women’s cross country, women’s lacrosse, women’s soccer, men’s swimming, women’s swimming, men’s tennis and women’s tennis, men’s indoor track & field and men’s outdoor track & field).
Additionally, the Generals claimed the ODAC’s Dan Wooldridge Overall Champions Cup for the 15th straight year.
